Frequently asked questions
Practical answers for Canadian food, beverage and animal nutrition teams evaluating a flavour partner — order quantities, timelines, documentation and logistics.
What is your minimum order quantity for flavours?
Standard liquid and powder flavours start at 5 kg for commercial orders. Bench samples of 100–500 g are supplied free of charge for development work so your team can trial a profile before committing to volume.
How long does custom flavour development take?
A first submission is typically ready in 2–3 weeks from a completed brief. Most projects reach a signed-off profile within 2–3 iteration rounds, so 6–8 weeks from brief to production-ready specification is a realistic plan.
Do you ship across all of Canada?
Yes. We ship from Canadian and EU stock to every province and territory, including temperature-sensitive and dangerous-goods (flammable liquid) consignments handled under TDG rules.
Are your flavours natural and clean label?
The majority of our portfolio is available in natural, natural flavouring substance (NFS) and organic-compliant versions. We also supply nature-identical options where cost or heat stability makes them the better fit.
What documentation do you provide?
Every commercial code ships with a technical data sheet, safety data sheet, allergen and GMO statements, kosher/halal status where applicable, country of origin, and CFIA-aligned ingredient declaration support.
Can you match a competitor's flavour profile?
Yes. Send us a retail sample or a benchmark and our flavourists will reverse-engineer the profile against your base, process and shelf-life targets — a common request for cost-down and dual-sourcing projects.
Do you supply pet food palatants and livestock feed flavours?
We do. Liquid and dry palatants, hydrolysates, yeast enhancers and meat distillates for kibble, wet food, treats, aquafeed and livestock premixes, with two-bowl palatability data available.
How do I request a sample?
Use the sample request form and tell us your application, base system, dosage target and label claims. Most Canadian requests dispatch within 2–3 business days.
Still have a question?
Our Canadian team answers technical questions directly — no call centre.
