What are palatants?
Palatants are flavour systems engineered specifically for animal feed and pet food — they drive acceptance, intake and consumption rather than human sensory enjoyment. They restore aroma volatiles lost during extrusion, mask functional ingredients, cover off-notes from proteins and minerals, and translate a nutritionally complete diet into one that dogs, cats, fish and livestock will actually eat.
A great palatant is the difference between a recall risk and a brand consumers stay loyal to. We supply both topical (post-process coating) and in-mix (dry blend) palatant systems, tuned to the format, matrix and species at the bowl or feeder.
